Piacere Mio

It's a lot like cooking, photography is. Given the right recipe and ingredients, anyone can cook a great dish. But a chef is someone who will instinctively put together something special with whatever is at their disposal, no matter how limited. The sense of proportion, the perfect mix of flavors, the optimal technique – it's innate to them. And it begs to be unleashed. Having others who appreciate the end result is a bonus but not a requirement. 90% of the joy is in the act of creation itself.
Thought I'd introduce myself.
I'll let others judge the aesthetic quality of my work but I take photos because I see them everywhere. No matter what the scene, I constantly see the perspective, the angle, the light and the symmetry – all of the elements that take a moment in time and make it (in my opinion) captivating. And once you start to see the world like that, it's non-stop FOMO. How many beautiful photos have I not captured? (Countless.)
I'm a fairly private person. I mostly stay away from social media. Balancing the desire to get my work out there and be seen while still trying not to fully put myself on display, has been a challenge. This platform is an attempt to solve that problem. That's why your being a subscriber is very important to me and I truly appreicate your support.
Anyway, if you want to know more about my previous work, check out my portfolio.
I'm contemplating adding a comment section to this website. Meanwhile, feel free to share feedback directly via email: talhanak@gmail.com. I look forward to hearing from you.
