Happy Sunday

People look at this and ask “wow, did you use filters?”

[I don’t do filters]

Thing is, this is real. That sky is real. That landscape is real. The light is real.

These moments are happening all around us, every single day. But they are fleeting. And most of the time we’re just not paying attention.

And that’s the thing about photography. It teaches you to seek out these fleeting moments. I’m now obsessed with sunrises and sunsets where before photography, I hardly never noticed. And I think it really has made me appreciate the world in a way I didn’t before.

Anyway — our world is incredible as it is; it doesn’t need filters.
