And while the content is not centered around any one single theme, observing and documenting different places, landscapes and cultures through photos, is the main focus.

Photography, at it's core, is a play of light and shadow. '14 Stops' is a technical term describing the best performance modern cameras can achieve in terms of capturing the brightest and darkest elements of a scene. That said, the reader is free to intrepet as they like. Some might imagine stops on a journey. Others might think of milestones in life. What matters most is that 14 Stops is about art and art is whatever we make of it.
